Gordon Lee Smith

Gordon Lee Smith, 77, passed away June 27, 2024. He was born in Akron to the late Clarence and Genvieve (Hosaflook) Smith and was a Garfield High School graduate.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward. He is survived by his brother, David; children, Beverly Wolverton, Paula Enigma, Anita Potts, Janet Atwell, Michael Bevier, Benjamin Bevier, and Ronald Smith; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Ron Shultz officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 12 – 1 p.m. with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.
