Gregory Mancuso

Gregory J.E. Mancuso, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the age of 60. He was born January 31. 1966 in Rochester, NY to the late James and Roxana (Walgenbach) Mancuso and moved to Akron in 1991.

Greg was a faithful member of Grace Cathedral Church in Cuyahoga Falls, where he worked for many years at the Cathedral Buffet. He also worked for 13 years for Waste Management. He was kind, gentle in spirit, and loved everyone; he would give you his last dollar. He was always smiling, enjoyed going to car shows, and dearly loved his pets. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Amodio. He leaves behind sister, Corrine Mancuso (Scott Smith); brothers, Cory (Michelle) Mancuso and Seth Amodio; step-sisters, Michelle (Scott) Durkin and Stephanie (Michael) Twist; nephews, Stephen Amodio and Caleb Mancuso; and other loving family members and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Cathedral – Akron, 1055 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312 with Rev. Steve Millar officiating. Calling hours will be at church for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m. with burial at Hillside Memorial Park.
