Harlan Lauersdorf, 97, passed away June 12, 2015. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harry and Violet (LaDu) Lauersdorf, he was a longtime resident of Brimfield and Tallmadge. Harlan worked as an engineer for Ohio Edison for 36 years and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge #316 in Kent.
Preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, and all four of his siblings, Harlan is survived by special friend, Marilyn Gobley; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Friends may call between 12 noon and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1235 Tallmadge Rd. Kent, OH 44240, during which a Masonic service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 1 p.m., with Rev. Lynda Masters officiating. Interment at Restland Cemetery.
