Helen J. Campbell

Helen J. Campbell, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior September 7, 2023. She was born in Middletown, OH to the late William and Nora (Logan) Hahn and was a long-time, active member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church. She served on many committees at church and was also a member of United Methodist Women and the EEA.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Art; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by sons, James “Brian” (Tracey), Arthur S. (Terri) and Brad (Debbie); grandchildren, John (Lisa), Juliette (Jehad), Jeremiah (Cheyenne), Shawn (Charlie), Nate (Ashley), Ryan and Melissa; great-granddaughter, Allyson; sisters, Doris and Judith; sister-in-law. Janet; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Special thank you to Gina and the Summa Hospice team and the caring nurses and staff at Danbury in Tallmadge.

Calling hours will be Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Wedgewood United Methodist Church, 2350 Wedgewood Dr., Akron, OH 44312 with Pastor Joe Burkhardt officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wedgewood UM Building Fund.
