Helen I. Merold, 83, passed away November 26, 2014. She was a graduate of the University of Akron and was a retired Akron Public Schools teacher.
Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years, John “Buzz”; children, John and Cindy; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Calling hours will be for two hours prior to the service, from 1 – 3 p.m. Private burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.
