Helen M. (Sell) Mayle

Helen M. Mayle, 81, passed away October 3, 2013.  Born in Canton OH, to the late Charles and Ann (Collins) Sell, she was a life-long Akron-Canton area resident.  Mrs. Mayle loved the Lord, was a lady of prayer and a long-time, active member of Celebration Church.  She played the piano and sang for many church services in the northeast Ohio area.  Helen was also a member of the Salvation Army Ladies Home League.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Garland Selph and Melvin Mayle; son, David Selph; and sister, Della Black.  Ms. Mayle is survived by son, Andrew Selph; brother, Ralph Day; and sister, Mary (Burgess) Root.

The funeral service will be Monday, October 7, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at the Celebration Church, 688 Dan Street, Akron OH 44310, with Rev. Charles T. Hunt officiating.  Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St. Akron, OH 44305, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and also ONE HOUR prior to the service at the church from 12 to 1 p.m.
