Howard L. Maish

Howard L. Maish, 67, passed away June 25, 2013. He was born in Rochester, IN to the late  (Howard L. and Dorothy Belk-Brown) Wallace and Wilma Maish and was an Akron resident for much of his life. He was a US Navy veteran during the Vietnam War and retired from Akron Anodizing with 31 years of service.

Howard was also a lifelong member of Christ United Methodist Church and belonged to the V.A.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jean; children, Howard Jr. (Roseanne), Suzette, Stacy and George (Tina); 9 grandchildren; sisters, Ruth and Rita; and brother, Stephan (Mary Ann).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 380 Mineola Ave, Akron, OH 44320, with Rev. William Wendell officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Howard's memory be made to Eckard Baldwin, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305.
