James "Jimmy" Richard Brown

May 23, 1986 — June 14, 2024

Jimmy (James) Richard Brown, 38, unexpectedly passed away June 14, 2024. He was born May 23,1986 in Akron,Ohio to Brenda Younkin & his late father, Thomas Williams, who unfortunately passed away when he was 3 months old. Jimmy was the oldest sibling to his sister, Jennie Brown and brother, Roger Younkin.

Jimmy was faced with health roblems early on in life. At the age of 15 he was diagnosed with epileptic seizures that limited him from a lot that he wanted to do. This also led to a lot of his depression, but that didn’t stop him from being the most loving and caring person that he was to everyone. He’s always longed for a perfect love or companion in his life, but he seemed to never be on the right path to find that. To know Jimmy is to Love him! He was very humorous, full of jokes and laughs, Always in someone’s bubble & Always down for a good time! He almost never said 'No' to Anyone about Anything, especially his 6 blessings of Niece’s & Nephew’s. Always & Forever from Day one, he treated each individual child as His own. They would all get on his last nerves, but not a day ever went by that he wasn’t trying to be the very best, goofy weirdo uncle for them all!

You couldn’t tell him anything about how he chose to live. He was so free-spirited that no matter what anyone ever told him about anything, he would still 100% hold his end of being the great person that he was, and always gave his endless care for people that he loved and appreciated. He always wanted to do the whole gardening thing, but a few single plants is as far as he ever got. His passion was literally spoiling all the nieces and nephews by buying them endless chocolates, cookies, candies, and donuts. He also always enjoyed looking up all kind of recipes to eventually try to cook, but for him, his pizza rolls and a Mountain Dew was his survival. So, even though cookin was not his forte, he wouldn’t hesitate to request all the best homemade food to be made at all the family functions and holidays. It was a must for him to pile his plate sky high with all the good meat and endless macaroni and cheese! Jimmy was just his own unique person! No matter the decisions that he chose to make for himself in life, he was always greatly accepted by all!

He leaves to cherish his memory forever and always: his mother, Brenda Younkin; brother, Roger Younkin and sister, Jennie Brown/Jeff Edwards; 6 nieces and nephews: Ma’Riyah Jones, Leilah Jones, Jeffry Edwards, Jai’Dyn Edwards, Jai’Vyn Edwards & Jazz’Lyn Edwards; very special life-long friend, Gary Donatelli; aunt, Bernice Freeman; cousins, Amber & Donna Freeman; big cousin, Jerome O’Brien/Deidre & Little Rome. & lots of other childhood friends & family! And very weird to say, but a must to mention, All of Jimmy’s wife’s that he claimed through out his life, that no matter if they agreed to be or not, HE CLAIMED THEM AS HIS WIFE and that was that! Too many names to mention, but if you know, then you know!!
