Janet Mae Hanrahan, 85, died peacefully October 27, 2011. She was born October 16, 1926 in Springfield, OH to the late Carl and Harriet (Wentworth) Reinheimer and lived in Akron for over 50 years.
Mom is now with her husband, Mike, who passed in March of 2010; and her son, John, who passed August of 1980. She leaves behind four daughters who she loved deeply, cared for and worried about until the day she died: Debi (Lee Roy), Kathy (John) Johnson, Marie (Bob) Trout and Patty (Ray) Summers. Seven grandchildren are left to share memories, funny stories and Holiday’s at Grandma’s: Seth, Danielle and Ryan Trout, Buddy Johnson, Krissy and Joe Greising, and Vanessa Maffel. Ten great-grandchildren will get to know her through their parents and grandparents. And left with over 50 years of memories are best friends Mayre Jo and Bill Knox of Fort Myers, Florida.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Fr. Joseph Kraker officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday for ONE HOUR prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
