Jeffrey Ellis Cooper

Jeffrey Ellis Cooper, 59, passed away February 18, 2026. He was born in Akron to the late John and Margaret (Good) Cooper and was a Mogadore High School graduate. Jeffrey was a proud veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Local 219 Pipefitters-Plumbers Association. He also loved music and fishing in the Mogadore Reservoir.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Jr. and Ashley; grandchildren, Alyana, Jeffrey III, Charley, Jake, Kali, Laynee, Luna, Eliana and Callum; siblings, Cindy (Tom), Becky (Rick), Kenny (Annette) and John (Joanne); and brother-in-law, Larry. Also surviving are his long-time partner Shelley Baer and her children, Aaron and Ashley.

Burial with military honors will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 10:15 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273.
