John was a World War II veteran of the US Army and retired from Westinghouse with over 40 years of service. He also retired from Bank One in Akron, where he worked for 13 years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Alma and sisters, Marjorie, Bernadine and Gloria, he is survived by his children, John C. Sr. (Linda), Jonette (Gene) Isacco and Joyce (Paul) Krauchuk; step-children, Richard, Sharon, Julie, Pam and Robin; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Esther (Chuck) Shoff; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #281. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 5th from 1 – 4 p.m.
