John P. Weaver, 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 16, 2015. Born in Galion, OH to the late William H. and Virginia L. (Reif), John was a U.S. Navy veteran who served his country proudly in the Vietnam War. He was employed by Canton City Schools at Lehman Middle School and attended First Friends Church of Canton.
John loved the Lord, his family, fishing, reading, collecting, cooking, American military and patriotic marches, old movies and TV shows, the Buckeyes, and the Fourth of July.
John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Terri; brother, Bill (Elaine) Weaver; sisters, Leah Weaver (Rex Landis) and Ginger (Jim) Ditmars; sister-in-law, Cindy Renfro and nieces and nephews.
There will be no public services. A family gathering will be held to celebrate his life. Memorial contributions can be made to Chapel Hill Christian School.
