Josephine “Jo” M. Allen, 90, passed away October 1, 2014. She was born in Parkersburg, WV to the late Scott and Maude (Davies) Barnes and was an Akron resident for most of her life.
Preceded in death by her husband, James, she is survived by her children, Garry (Linda) Allen and Janice Fyffe; grandson, James Fyffe; and sister-in-law, Mary Reese.
The funeral service will be Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4724 State Rd. in Peninsula with Rev. Al Hale officiating. Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 5, from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St.
