Katherine E. Maupin, 94, passed away peacefully in her home on July 6, 2017. Born in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Wylie and Gertrude (Hall) Worix and lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jess in 1997; sister, Wanda Howard; and brother, JW. She is suvived by her daughters, Joyce (Robert) Wright, Janet (Mike) Hollosy, Jackie (Nick) Couvdos, Judy (John) Sidlosky, Dora (James) Lee, Brenda (Donald) Ballard, Cathy (Gary) Perry, Christine (Thomas) Tucker; grandchildren and caretakers, Steven Maupin and Angi Maupin; sister, Pauline McClave; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Per Katherine's wishes, cremation has taken place. She and Jess will be placed together in Ashland, Kentucky at a later date.
