Kathryn J. Lipscomb

Kathryn J. Lipscomb, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family February 13, 2022. She was born in Akron to the late Carl and Ruby Baker and retired from the Summit County Auditor’s Office. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Roy; sisters, Dorothy and Mary Ann; brothers, John and Carl; grandchildren, Jason, Andrew and Jennifer; and daughter-in-law, Mary Jo. She is survived by her children, Roy Jr., Mark (Dawn), Mary (Robert) Ringeis and Sheila; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Bath Manor for their loving care of our mom for the last 17 years. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Ben Adams officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
