Lester E. Wells Jr., 79, passed away June 17, 2015. He was born in Akron to the late Lester and Ida (Yeagley), and lived most of his life in Barberton.
Lester retired from ACME with over 30 years of service and was an avid sports fan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shelvagene B.; great-grandson, Carter and brother, Bobby. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; children, Cheryl Vires, Debra (Berk) Harris and Ricky; grandchildren, Carrie, Danny, Ricky, August, Jimmielee, Brittany, Kenny, Taylor and Tyler; 9 great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Linda, April and Melissa; and several step-grandchildren.
A private memorial gathering will be held by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 to assist with funeral expenses.
