Linda M. Robinson

Linda M. Robinson, 70, passed away peacefully at home February 7, 2022. She was born in Akron to the late Marvin Thomas and Zelma (Woody) Robinson and was a Coventry High School graduate.

Linda was a founding member of the Best Practices in Schizophrenia Treatment (BeST) Center at Northeast Ohio Medical University’s Consumer Advisory Council and an active volunteer for NAMI Summit County. She was a member of Choices - Akron and attended Trinity Gospel Temple and Cathedral of Life Church. She loved visiting her family in North Carolina and watching wrestling and Steelers football with her son.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew. She is survived by her children, Joel and Nicole (Deb); grandsons, Austin and Clayton; siblings, Leslie, Larry, Debbie, Tom, Mary, Sandy, and Carol; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Choices - Akron, the Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care Center at Akron Children’s Hospital, NAMI – Summit County.

A memorial service, officiated by the Reverend Dr. Daniel H. Grossoehme, will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 6:00pm, at Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home. Calling hours will begin at 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service. The family requests masks be worn. Disposable masks will be available.
