Linda J. Powers

Linda Jean (Daniels) Powers was born in Akron, Ohio on July 8, 1944. She passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, after a full life.  She moved back to Akron, from Massachusetts, and resumed her lifelong work in the Activities Department at Saint Luke Lutheran Home until her retirement.  She enjoyed creating smiles and working with the elderly so much. Linda loved to garden, was an avid reader and her passion was for all animals.  She opened her heart and door to any animal in need.  Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, and friend.  She was a compassionate and loving person to all who knew her.  She was very loved and will be missed terribly.

Linda was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Daniels and her husband, Leonard Powers.  She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Thompson and Alexa Pellegrino; grandchildren, Carley Thompson and Sarah Morales; and great grandchild, Gabriella Morales.
