Mabel L. Rosier

Mabel L. Rosier, 89, passed away peacefully November 15, 2023. She was born in Akron to the late William and Doris (Washburn) Singleton and was a Copley High School graduate.

Mabel worked for American Greetings and was an active member of AARP. She enjoyed camping, hiking and boating with her family, traveling, bowling with her husband Jim and their friends, and attending shows at Blossom and watching NASCAR with her friend Bob Hankinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter, Karen (Wayne) Peeples; son-in-law, John Yaros; and mother-in-law, Mildred Rosier. She is survived by her children Patricia Yaros, Dennis (Lisa) Rosier and David (Janice) Rosier; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Joe Burkhardt officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 1 – 2 p.m. with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
