Marian A. Summers, 90, passed away November 5, 2013. She was born in Corona, CA to the late Pearl and Lena (Dickey) Glass and moved to Akron in 1945. She was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and helped build B-17’s for Douglas Aircraft.
Preceded in death by her husband, Walter and sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Ruth, she is survived by her children, Daniel and Eileen.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
