Marian I. Tobias, passed away March 12, 2014. She was born in Akron, OH to the late Charles and Evelyn (Pinney) Webster. Marian was a graduate of Central High School, Hammel Business College and also attended the University of Akron. She was a long time member of Family of Faith Church, Akron Women’s City Club, Charter member American Business Women’s Association, and past President of Altrusa Club of Akron. Marian and Lewis owned the successful Tobias Photography Studio for 35 years. She traveled the world, visiting 44 different countries.
Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lewis Tobias; and brother, Robert. She will be dearly missed by her twin daughters, Karen Robinson and Kay (William) Johnson; grandchildren, David, Gary and Mark Robinson, Scott Johnson and Sharon (Ross) Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Bridget, Kyle, Ashley, Morgan, Josh, Ethan, Joel, and Benjamin; and many loving family and friends.
The funeral service will be Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St. with Rev. Ron Shultz officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 14, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
