Mark W. Campbell, 50, passed away suddenly August 15, 2012. He was born in Akron and was one of Ohio’s finest Iron Workers out of Local # 17. He built the Batmobile at Geauga Lake and worked on the Society Building with his brother, Rocky.
Mark was a thrill seeker and motor-head and he lived each day for the moment. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Constance (Harzinski) and sister, Debbie. He leaves behind Helen and their son, Ty and sons, Brandon, Brian and Ryan; loving brother, Rocky (Gina); sister, Brenda (Lou); grandchildren, Savahanna, Brenna, Blake, and Kaydence; in-law’s, the Ferrell and Hurst families; and his best friends, Kim and Steve.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Keith Emhoff officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for two hours prior to the funeral, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
