Marla J. Zwoll, 84, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2016. She was born in Akron to the late Oliver Sr. and Ermel (Groves) Zwoll and was a lifelong resident. She retired from Ohio Bell with 39 years of service and was an active, lifetime member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Marla was preceded in death by her brother, Oliver Jr. and sister, Merle Mullens. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, one sister-in-law and many close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Wedgewood United Methodist Church, 2350 Wedgewood Drive, with Rev. Joseph Burkhardt officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service, from 12 noon – 1:00, with private burial at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wedgewood United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2350 Wedgewood Dr., Akron, OH 44312.
