Marsha L. Beatty

Marsha L. Beatty, 77, passed away December 23, 2022. She was born in Akron to the late Howard and Evelyn (Rader) Ellis and had formerly worked at Amy Joy’s donut shop.

Marsha was a very energetic person who loved trips to Disney and Cedar Point. She also enjoyed crafts, including making dolls. More than anything she loved her grandkids and cats, and she will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Franklin; and siblings, Deborah and Gaelen. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Barry) Palmer and Harold (Lisa) Beatty; her partner of 20 years, Richard Warford; grandchildren, Barry Jr., caregiver and granddaughter Donnette (Marty) Morris; Sam and Rusty; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, William.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Ron Shultz officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m..
