Martha K. Mack, 91, passed away July 2, 2015. She was born in Akron to the late James B. and Mary E. (Oliver) King and was a Goodyear Heights resident for most of her life before living the last 10 years in Macedonia.
Martha was a proud Marine veteran of World War II and took great pride in helping build planes as a Rosie the Riveter at Goodyear Aircraft. She retired from Cornwell Quality Tools with more than 25 years of service and was a life-long member of Goodyear Heights United Presbyterian Church. She was a great tennis player, avid golfer and also enjoyed various arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William (Alberta) King; sister, Geraldine (Raymond) Hyser; nephew, Keith Hyser; and niece, Lynda King. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Minné; grandchildren, Jamie Minné (Josh Petersen) and Tracie (Michael) Childers; great-grandson, Noah Childers; nephew, Dr. Raymond (Pam) Hyser; niece, Heidi Zirkl; and cousin, Peggy France.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 6:00 PM, at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel. Private inurnment will be held at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
