Mary E. Davis

Mary E. Davis, 84, passed away June 9, 2025. She was born in Akron to the late Lawrence and Theresa (Faruggia) Oldaker and was an East High School graduate. She was an award-winning salesperson for Avon for 20 years and also worked for Forest City Dillon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George; daughter, Theresa; and step-son, Robert. She is survived by her children, William (Laura) Darby and Roscoe “Rocky” Lemon (Melinda); grandchildren, Megan (Alex), Billy (Jo), Danny, Autumn, Grant, Tempest and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Owen and Rhys; step-children, Georgia (Maudie) Maldonado, of CO and David, of New Jersey; step-grandchildren, Amy and Brendan Paravecchio and Samantha Davis; sister, Tina.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Ron Shultz officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 12 – 1 p.m., with burial at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
