Mary L. Tharp, 92, passed away July 23, 2021. She was born in Akron to the late Thomas and Mary (Cochran) Scott and had been a member of Greensburg Church of God.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gayle, 2 brothers and 4 sisters, she is survived by her children, Kim (John) Petty and Brian (Chris) Tharp; grandchildren, Jared (Angie) Petty, Andrew Petty and Olivia (Joe) Huntley, Marisa (Jacob) Tilton and Curtiss Tharp.
The family would like to give special thanks to Kindred Hospice for their heartfelt care, especially Shelly and Billie Jo, and Mary’s nurses Beth, Carmella and Liz.
