Michael D. Morris, 46, passed away July 30, 2017 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born in Akron, was a proud United States Navy veteran and was a talented granite fabricator for many years.
Michael was an honorable man and an unlimited source of guidance and mentorship to everyone he met. The impression he left can’t be measured in words because his actions were far too lasting. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Britnee (Lance) and Michael; grandchildren, Harper and Calvin; father, William; and many loving siblings, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 starting at 5 p.m. at the Acker-Moore Memorial Post, 3773 Fishcreek Rd., Stow, OH 44224. Military honors will be presented at the Post at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund in Michael’s honor at any participating Key Bank.
