Michele M. Johnson, 66, passed away June 13, 2011. She was born in Akron to the late Michael and Sevena (Moran) Evanovich, and was a life-long resident. Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and was a homemaker most of her life. She was very active in community spirit and volunteered as a clown to bring joy and happiness to local nursing homes.
Michele was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, David. She is survived by her sons, David and William Johnson.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave., with Father Michael Williamson officiating. Interment East Akron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St, on Friday, June 17, from 5 to 7 p.m.
