Nancy G. (Riley) Harris

Nancy G. Harris (Riley), 66, passed peacefully August 13, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, John Harris; children, Shannon, Deanna (Jeremy) Davidson, Devon (Cory) Rose, and Dalton (Kathy) Harris; grandchildren, Austin (Madison) Davidson, Caleb Davidson, Patience Rose, Owen Rose, Cadence Rose, Declan Davidson, RJ, and Marley Harris; her beloved dog, Baxter, who was very very important to her; along with many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was always a kind-hearted, respectable woman that gained the love of many, influencing and helping so many people in her life. She had a passion for spoiling her grandchildren and was a natural caretaker.

We enjoyed teasing her about becoming a "crazy plant lady" that could keep anything alive. She had a green thumb and brought even the saddest plants back to life.  Nancy and John enjoyed being homebodies and keeping their yard nice enough that they received the City of Akron Beautification Watch Award 2 years in a row.

She loved to cook and going to estate sales, and game night was always a fun thing with her friends. She was once in a bowling league and had many achievements in her younger years. She also had an almost obsessive love for True Crime and Paranormal shows.
