Patricia Lee Gbur, 91, passed away peacefully November 7, 2025. She was born in Hamilton, OH to the late Charles and Bertha (Mahon) Wilson and moved to Akron in 1963. She was an active member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church since 1970 and worked for Goodyear Aerospace.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John; step-son, Michael; sisters, Ruth, Betty, Katherine, and Joy; and brother, Charles. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Tammy) and Douglas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A brief memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Wedgewood United Methodist Church, 2350 Wedgewood Dr., Akron, OH 44312 with Pastor Paul Wilson officiating. Private burial will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
