Patricia M. Bray, 91, passed away December 1, 2014. She was born in Cleveland to the late Harry and Marie (Ivory) Lucas and lived most of her life in the Akron area, as well as 8 years in South Carolina. She worked for many years as a nurse at the offices of Dr. Antonucci and Dr. Platt and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, and sister, Joan Clark. She is survived by her children, Devon (Sandy) Bray and Jennifer Seenes; grandchildren, Mike, John, Lauren, Laura and Brandon; nephews, Ed and Terry, who held a special place in her heart; special friends, Geri Hammick and her daughter Melinda, and Sherry Betts; and numerous cousins in Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with Pastor Linda Bradley officiating. Calling hours will be for one hour prior to the service, from 5 – 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity 2301 Romig Rd., Akron, OH 44320.
