Patsy Ruth Gray, 77, passed away June 13, 2015 at Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood. Born in Globe, Arizona to the late Daniel and Ola May (Pratt) Cheney, she resided in Oklahoma and California most of her life. Pasty enjoyed reading books and loved spending time with her family, as well as her fat cat, Cinnamon.
Preceded in death by husband, Ralph; sister, Mary Alice Pinney and brother, Gerald Cheney, she will be sadly missed by children, Kathy Gray Tharpe (Chuck Barlow) and Ralph Jr., “Skip” (Lisa) Gray; grandchildren, Becky Matovich, Mike “Mikey” Matovich, Jr., Jamie Poma, Sean Gray, Addy Poma, Jon Barlow and Taylor Barlow: brother, Carl R. Cheney; special friend, Mike Esquivel.
Per Patsy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087 or the American Lung Association, 5900 Wilcox Place, Dublin, OH 43016.
