Paula D. Mcquillen

Paula D. McQuillen, 66, passed away April 20, 2024. She was born in Fort Knox, Ky and was a lifelong Akron resident, graduating from Garfield High School in 1975.

She is survived by her son, Joseph; grandson, Alex; sisters, Connie, Katy and Melissa (Gary); and 5 nieces and nephews.

Paula lived her life as a homemaker and wife, taking care of her husband Mike until he passed.  She made the best pumpkin and apple pies, along with the best oatmeal cookies. She was a good listener and very patient. She loved babies and was the go-to person in the family with our children. She also loved music, especially R&B, and her Jack Russell.

Paula had many talents. She was an excellent quilt maker and crocheter and had a special eye for taking pictures. Her favorites included butterflies, flowers, birds and her grandson, Alex. Forever in our hearts.

The family is planning a Celebration Of Life this Spring to honor her life. Announcement to follow at a later date..
