Pauline M (Gorham) Heitzenrater

Pauline M. Heitzenrater, 84, passed away May 16, 2011. She was born in Akron to the late Harry and Helen (Wykoff) Gorham and was a lifelong resident. She had worked at Goodrich and with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for many years. She was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church and belonged to the General Tire Mother’s Club.

Pauline was a devoted family woman and enjoyed her trips to Kentucky, and she will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and brother, Glenn Gorham. She is survived by her children, Edward (Catherine), Tommy (Mary Ann) and Linda Bergdorf; grandchildren, April, James (Kristen), Tommy, Michael, Ashley and Shelby; 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Lois) Gorham.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Robert W. Tauscher Jr. officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
