Pauline Muster, age 88, passed away January 21, 2014 in her home. She was born in Mansfield, OH but was a lifeline Akron resident. She worked for Kroger Company for 28 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of RCIA Local 698 for 28 years serving on the executive board as vice president for 20 years and was Chairman of the Audit Committee of RCIA Local 698 Credit Union for 17 years. She was an avid crocheter, loved cooking and above all being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Muster was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Muster, Sr. in 1984 after 39 years of marriage; son-in-law, Tom Goldsmith; and her loving cat, Amy. She is survived by her two daughters, Trish (Dick) Swartz, Peg Goldsmith; son, Bill (Debbie) Muster Jr.; grandchildren, Michael (Anna), Bryan (Shana), Susanne (Jon), Sean, Rachael (Russell), Neal; and great-grandchildren, Cody, Sierra, Rowan, Lilly and Cassidy all of whom she loved dearly.
Pauline was a special part of each life she touched and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 9, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St. with Pastor Michael Mancari officiating. The family will receive friends ONE HOUR prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
