Phyllis R. Rardin

Phyllis R. Rardin, 90, passed away February 1, 2025. She was born in Akron to the late Roscoe and Mae (Jack) Keller and was an East High School graduate. She faithfully attended Arlington Memorial Baptist Church most of her life.

Phyllis worked at the Polsky’s Department Store in downtown Akron in her younger years. In her later years, she and her husband Jack Rardin owned the Riverwalk Antique Store on Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Rardin; her three sons, Greg, John, and Richard Rardin; her brother, Jack Keller; her sisters in law, Natalie Keller, Alice Keller, Judy Keller, and Nancy Keller; and her niece, Julia Keller Shively.  She is survived by her grandson, Matthew Rardin; her great granddaughters Julie Foster and Angelina Rardin; greatgrandson, Collin Lara; great greatgrandson Welyn Caldwell; her brother, Gerald Keller; her nephews Jeffrey Keller and David Keller; nieces Laura Keller McDowall and Jodi Keller; great nephew, Graham Shively; cousins Janie and Bill Moore; caretakers Maribeth James Brescia, Lori Shaffer, Salma Zerhouane, and many wonderful workers at Hickory Ridge Nursing Home; and many other beloved family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305. Visitation will be held at the funeral home for 1/2 hour prior to the service, from 11:30 a.m. - 12 noon.
