Raleigh V. Gray

Raleigh V. Gray, 77, passed away June 4, 2026. He was born in Akron to the late Alvan and Lorayne (Rardin) Gray and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years at ENSR as well as Terminal Warehouse.

Raleigh loved his music, was a dedicated Browns fan, and always looked forward to family vacations to the Outer Banks. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his sisters, Amanda Smith and Barbara Daniels; and granddaughter, Tiffani Gray He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ginger; children, Michael (Kathi) Gray, Jason (Gina) Gray and Heather Fox; grandchildren, Krista, Forrest (Olivia), Julia, Aleyna, Colton, Kyle and Ryan; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Gray; sister, Becky Purdham; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 3 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 with Pastor Mike Farmer officiating. Calling hours will be for one hour prior to the service, from 2 – 3 p.m.
