Reverend Eunice Mae Hendershot

Reverend Eunice Mae Hendershot, 86, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 4, 2021 surrounded by her family at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. She was an Ordained Minister and obtained her Doctorate of Divinity.

Eunice was born August 8, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to John Wesley and Ruby Ethel (Cain) Dobbins. She was a member of Cypress Cathedral of Winter Haven, FL and also attended New Hope Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband – Glenn Wilt; brothers, John and Sam; and sisters, Onie, Vicey and Haley.  Eunice is survived by her loving family,  children, Chris Wilt, Keith (Christine) Hendershot and  Sherry (Wilt) Moore; grandchildren, Tinaka, C.J., Trenton, Dawn, G.J. and Deneece; great-grandchildren, Jordan, T.J., Paige, Jason, Shelbylynn and Greggory; and great-great grandchildren, Laniah, Lillyin, Brentley, Audrey and Avery.

A celebration of Eunice’s life was held in Auburndale, Fl. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, OH In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to New Hope Fellowship.
