Robert D. Comely Sr., 60, passed away January 4, 2012. He was born in Akron to the late Eugene and Hazel Comely, and was a self employed mechanic for most of his life. Mr. Comely attended Lakeview Lighthouse Church for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Diane; sons, Robert D. Jr., William F. (Vanessa) Lance, and Christopher Lance; 6 grandchildren and numerous friends.
The funeral service will be Monday, January 9, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the Lakeview Lighthouse Church, 1065 Kubler Trail, Akron Ohio 44312, with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St, on Sunday, January 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.
