Robert Jack McCullough “Mac”, 83, passed away September 25, 2012.  He was born June 29, 1929 in Washington, PA to the late Orville and Alta (Tobin) McCullough. He was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School and met the love of his life, Marjorie (Hunt), in 1948.

They married December 25, 1950, before he left to serve his country in the US Army as “Radio Man”, running wires on the front lines in Korea from 1951 – 1952.  In 1953 they moved to Akron where he worked for Akron Coffee and Grocery.  He retired from Betsy Ross Foods as a mechanic with over 20 years service, was a member of the Teamsters Local # 348 and was an avid bowler and golfer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Robert “Butch” and brother, David. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie; children, Rick (Diane) and Sharon Buckus; grandchildren, Mary McCullough, Stephen Robert and Amy Darkow Buckus and Bryan Todd Buckus; and “sister”, Juanita Anderson Moore.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Karen Hartley officiating. Interment at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 28, from 6 – 8 p.m. and also for one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 12 - 1.
