Roberta Lenore (Norie) Board, age 87, died peacefully on August 5, 2017.
Born in Akron, she was a 1948 graduate of Akron North High School. She graduated from Miami University in 1952 and became an executive secretary for G.E. and B.P. She retired from B.P. in 1992.
Lenore lived most of her life in Cleveland. She was an avid golfer, skier and she loved to sail. She loved to do crafts with her mother and spend time with her family and friends. She was a kind, good-hearted woman.
Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Roberta Board. She had a “sister-like” relationship with her cousin, Letha. She is survived by Letha and Bob Hatherill, their children and grandchildren.
We would like to thank the staff at The Gables of Hudson who showed her love and care during her stay there. We would also like to thank the Hospice Nurses for the comfort and care they provided to Lenore and her family.
There will be a private family service with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
