Ronald A. Warren

Ronald A. Warren, 77, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2014.  He was born in Cornwall, New York to the late Homer and Bertha (Knapp) and was a long-time Akron resident.  Ron was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving our country during Vietnam and retiring with 20 years of service.  He was an active Mason at Akron-Coventry Lodge #83 and VFW #3383.  He supported the Haven of Rest, St. Jude, Disabled American Veterans, and the Blind Society.

Preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary in 1999, Ron is survived by his sister, Barbara Macisco of Milford, CT; children, Cynthia (Michael) Schrader of Irvine, CA, Deborah Culp of Lompoc, CA, Richard of California City, CA, and Scott (Ramona) of Akron; grandchildren, Ronald (Angela), Michael, Cherie, Russell (Molly), Richard II, Zachary, Lindsay, Daniel, Crystal, and Jennifer; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; as well as his nieces, Arlene, Darlene and Lisa and their families.

The funeral service will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Nan Morgan officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home for ONE HOUR prior to the service from 9 - 10 a.m., with a Masonic service immediately following at 10.  Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, with military honors conducted by VFW Post #3383 and the USAF Honor Guard.
