Rosella M. “Rose” Flowers, 73, passed away December 4, 2012. She was born in Akron to the late Ray and Winifred (Nolan) Murphy and lived most of her life in Mogadore.
Rose was an East High School graduate and retired from Haas Orthodontics as a lab technician. She was a member of Sweet Adelines for over 30 years and was active in the Spina Bifida Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roland James and Ray Murphy and sister, Rowena. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Delbert; children, Denise (Dave) Smith and Delbert II; grandchildren, Wyl and Storm; and sister, Sally Shahan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12 noon at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., with Brent Sohar officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 11 a.m. – 12 noon.
