Rosemary Dague, 77, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Constantine and Grace (Cassiero) Canova, Rosemary lived most of her life in the Akron area, and was a long time member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Rosemary Kathleen; and brother, Clarence J. Canova. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Sr.; daughters, Mary Dague, Connie (Gary) Rardon, and Becky (Don) Goodwin; son, William “Bill” Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Smolk, Mike (Barry) Scholles, and Mary Margaret (Dennis) Pavelko; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave. Akron, Ohio, 44312. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., on Wednesday, January 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
