Russell “Jack” Young, 60, passed away February 23, 2014. He was born in Akron to the late Russell and Sallie (Thomas) and was a 1971 Garfield High School graduate. He was known as “Captain Jack” while working on the Portage Princess Tour Boat and he loved playing Bingo.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Teri Greene, he is survived by his sisters, Loretta (Michael) Wieland, Sharon (Bill) Proctor, Nancy Young, Margie (Glenn) Taylor and Sally (Jim) Ricchiuto; and other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank University Park and Crossroads Hospice for their care of Jack.
