Ruth Jane (Miller) Lustic, 88, passed away July 29, 2014. She was born in Akron to the late Lester and Mary (Turner) Miller on September 9, 1925 and worked for Goodyear. Ruth’s life was dedicated to her family and she was always there for everyone.
Ruth is survived by her children, Donald, John (Carolyn) Juhas, Rose (Fred) Herkner and Karen (Jim) Scheck; grandchildren, Richard (Christy) Scheck and James (Kara) Scheck and Tracy Herkner; great-great grandchildren, Amanda (Keith), Timothy (Olivia), Brandon and Jarred; great-great granddaughters, Gracie and Baby M (due in October); sister, Janet (William) Leemaster; and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; great-granddaughter, Delilah Scheck; sister, Mary Lou Monk; and brothers, James, Donald and William Miller.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Theodore Krutky and the staff of Visiting Physicians, Dr. Woods (podiatrist), and the staff of Grace Hospice, especially nurses Lindsay, Kristy, Kristen and Sarah and nurses aid Tiesha, and chaplain Ed who helped her pass away at home with dignity and grace.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery with Fr. Mike Williamson officiating.
