Sarah Ann Hudson, 94, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2016. She was born in Akron to the late William and Laura (Thomas) Cooley and was a lifelong resident.
Sarah worked for many years in the Akron Public School system, was a member of ABWA and was a long-time member of Family of Faith United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and son, Randall. She is survived by her children, Gail, Paul (Amy) and Bonnie; grandchildren, Charles, Arielle, Jeffrey, Brandon (Violetta), Sarah (Jeran) Bloxham and Matthew; great-grandchildren Noah and Maddox; brother, Parke Cooley, nieces, Lauralee (Steve) and Elisa (Dan).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 12 noon at Family of Faith United Methodist Church, 800 E. Market St., with Rev. Ron Shultz officiating. Calling hours will be at church for one hour prior to the service, from 11 am – 12 noon. Private burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
