Sennetta A. Thurston, 93, passed away March 20, 2014. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio to the late Karl and Emma (Thorn) Buck. Sennetta was a loving homemaker and especially loved and adored her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband of over 40 years, Harry; daughter, Dianne Shaffer; and son, James. She is survived by son, Thomas (Loretta); 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St, with Rev. Richard Woodin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home ONE HOUR prior to the service from 6 to 7 p.m.
