Shannon "Pooh" R. Inch

Shannon R. Inch, aka Pooh, born September 13, 1977, passed away July 18, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy; fathers, Don and Ratch; grandparents, John, Naomi, Deed and Irene; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her brother, Jamo “Bub”; nieces, Jordan “Peanut”, Jillian “Bean”, Zoey and Kimmy; her # 1 cousin/bestie/sister Anna and her boys Austin and Kenneth; her woulda/coulda/shoulda wife Julie “Jules”; and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pooh had many friends who were just as close: Kathy, Liz, Amy, and Dorla, just to name a few. She had many many more.

Pooh lived life unapologetic and free-spirited. She was a painter by day and a character by night. Like Jamo, she had the gift of gab and that mesmerizing charm. She never met a stranger, and always lit up a room and the dance floor. She was fun-loving, quick witted and always clowning. Never a dull moment.

Although she is no longer with us, her Shannonanigans will live on forever. Our hearts are forever broke – rest in peace Pooh Bear.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home in honor of Shannon to assist the family with final arrangements.
